The shop is open!

Welcome to the grand opening of B.’s online bookshop! I am excited to welcome curious readers from all over the world to my little corner of the internet. As you may have guessed, this is a virtual bookstore that specializes in selling B.'s books - yes, we know, a bold, original idea, but we're daring like that.

But wait, there's more!

In addition to the bookstore, there is this blog. Here I plan to post short stories I have worked on over the years but never proceeded to move on to publish them, for various reasons. Some may be stand alone shorts. Others may be story installments. Many will be regular blog posts, but depending on how much work and time a story takes, I may monetize it.

If your preference is non-fiction, self-improvement books, this may not be the place for you - yet. But if you're feeling curious and are looking for a quick read, you will soon be able to take a peek at my shorts and concept stories. They won’t be perfectly edited and ready for the printing press, but if you like to get attached to fictional characters, or you just want to scroll past words and sentences instead of filtered photos and endless videos, you may enjoy these pieces.

Oh, and no AI for my fiction posts. Regular blog posts and illustrations however... no promises. My goal is to have a visually pleasing place where readers want to return, but I can’t draw. As such, I welcome any tool that helps make the blog more attractive. But creativity is not Chat GPT's strong suit, and while it may catch up and one day churn out banging epic sagas, I am skeptical about that happening.

Now, you might be thinking: "Why would I choose to read your scrap writing?" Well, for starters, I haven’t encountered a blog that does this, so why not give it a try? Secondly, I don’t plan to post scraps. I cannot promise that everyone will like my stories, but I have put some good work into them. And lastly, I hope that my writings will generate interest in my published books.

So, grab a cup of your preferred beverage, get comfy, and start browsing! You won’t find much as of today, but as time goes on there will be more.
